Tennie Smith has been a nurse for 25 years. During her career she gave advice to individuals about what was effective in treating dry scaly flaky skin and how to prevent stretch marks from occurring during pregnancy.

 

Experience treating these conditions and enhancing products that were currently on the market to improve their performance lead her to devising her own cream. Personally, dryness from numerous hand washings between patients and use of sanitizers caused severely dry skin. Years of being on her feet caused crusty heels to develop. this was embarrassing when sandals were worn. She created this cream and used it personally until one morning she decided to market it so others can benefit.

 

Developing the lip balm occurred from numerous attempts to replace a favorite product that was discontinued. After trying various products from several department stores and paying anywhere from $10-$18.00 on lip balms that weren’t effective moisturizing my lips I developed my own lip balm. This lip balm surpasses the one I attempted to replace.

 

Initially her trial market was with family and coworkers. Listening to the customers and experts in the health field I restructured my product into certified organic materials. Receiving positive feedback has lead to launching Smooth Heals with loving support of her husband.
